Course Overview
PADI Tec Instructor Training – Lead the Next Generation of Technical Divers
The PADI Tec Instructor Training Course is designed for experienced dive professionals who are ready to take their passion for deep, technical, and decompression diving to the next level — by teaching it.
This course equips you with the knowledge, teaching techniques, and in-water skills needed to conduct PADI TecRec courses, including Tec 40, Tec 45, Tec 50, all with Trimix. You'll work with Paul Firth PADI Course Director and TEC Instructor Trainer to refine your technical diving abilities, master the art of planning and executing complex dives, and learn how to safely and effectively teach others to do the same.
Through a mix of academic sessions, practical applications, and in-water scenarios, you’ll gain a deep understanding of gas management, stage cylinder handling, decompression planning, problem-solving, and team diving protocols. But more than just technical skills, this course builds your confidence as a leader in challenging environments — where precision, preparation, and performance are non-negotiable.
Becoming a Tec Instructor not only enhances your professional credentials, it also allows you to share your passion for exploration, depth, and pushing limits in a safe, structured way.
Whether you're looking to expand your career options, guide others into the world of technical diving, or pursue elite PADI ratings, the Tec Instructor Training Course is your gateway to the next level.
Paul is regularly teaching TEC courses and can integrate your Tec Instructor Training to enable you to achieve the required teaching credits.
